By its nature product development is an iterative process where designs are realised, evaluated, modified and optimised. CNC machining lends itself to this process extremely well as functional parts can be produced in a range of materials, to exacting tolerances in a cost effective manner. Designs can be iterated without the need for additional capital outlay. CNC machining possesses a number of benefits over other manufacturing methods such as injection moulding and rapid prototyping.

When developing products in conjunction with, or on behalf of customers, Caragh Precision follows a structured stage gate review process. This process ensures critical reviews and signoffs are completed throughout the project lifecycle. Reviews are completed at concept stage, design freeze stage, product development stage and ready for manufacture stage. If necessary we can also align & integrate our reviews with our customer's design control system to provide a seamless development process.
