Production
Located in a purpose built 40,000 sq ft environmentally controlled facility, Caragh Precision has the capacity to support your production manufacturing requirements. We offer full traceability from material to completed product via our dedicated electronic production management system
All products are manufactured and inspected in accordance with our ISO 13485 registered quality system.
We operate a flexible ordering system from single purchase order to blanket order with call offs giving you the flexibility to manage your requirements in an efficient and cost effective manner. Additionally we offer a Consignment Inventory Control (CIC) service where we can manage inventory in your facility and maintain agreed levels therefore relieving you of the burden to monitor stock levels and place orders.

At Caragh Precision we have a wide range of production manufacturing capabilities including:
CNC machining
Our range of vertical and horizontal multi axis machining centres and CNC turning centres are capable of producing parts from one off complex components to higher volumes with high consistency and accuracy. With over 26 years experience in machining metal and plastic components our operators are well versed in programming complex configurations and producing parts to exacting tolerances and high quality. This technology enables us to produce micro precision 3D components in a range of materials from stainless steel, titanium, cobalt chromium, beryllium copper, PEEK, PTFE, polycarbonate, Ultem, Radal and others.
Wire EDM
We have extensive experience in wire EDM and plunge EDM. The benefits of Electrical Discharge Machining include high levels of accuracy and repeatability. Examples of plunge EDM applications include micro hole drilling in metals from 0.008” (0.2mm) diameter and profile shaping.
Wire EDM is also used as a secondary operation to prepare materials for machining or complete elements of production where high accuracy is required.
Laser Welding
Using Nd:YAG pulsed laser welding we can provide assemblies with strong, accurate welds with small heat distortion. Laser welding can also be used to combine dissimilar materials in an assembly. Examples of this technology are in the production of orthopaedic instruments, forming mandrels and spraying mandrels for stent manufacture. As our lasers utilise CNC programming, complex weld profiles can be achieved in an accurate and repeatable way.
Laser Marking
Laser marking provides an efficient method for identifying products either via text, barcode or graphic. The benefits of laser marking over conventional printing are a generally more durable print and no new materials are introduced to the product.
Media Blasting
We have capabilities in dry and wet media finishing to achieve your desired finish. Media finishing provides a uniform surface finish ranging from textured to smooth. Various different types of glass or ceramic media are available giving different types of finish. The use of dry or ‘wet’ blasting will also have an effect of the finish. Media and process are selected based on customer requirements.
